The ‘reasons’ for people’s fame and hence their inclusion in a biographical register may be extremely diverse, besides which people may be famous for more than one thing. For the time being, we are using a rough classification system to assign people to various walks of life.

In this way you can search all reference material included in the portal. The results generated by this search will not always be of good quality: in some cases the text has been scanned in using OCR software. You may also find that only part of the biography has been included.
